EIRIN COMMISSION OF COUNCILOR
The commission is composed of 1 president, 1 vice president and 3 councilors, and holds its regular meetings monthly. The president of EIRIN is designated with full responsibilities including execution of its policy, category decisions and appointment of the examiners. The Advisory Panel on Children’s Film Viewing falls under the purview of the president. The commission makes executive decisions regarding film classification issues. Currently the councilors are as follows:

Mr. Keinosuke Ohki: |
Appointed by Eirin-Sustaining Committee as the fifth president of EIRIN(Film Classification and Rating Committee), he took up the post in July 2009 when Mr. Magoroku Ide resigned. Being a former managing chief editor of the NHK programming department and a former managing director of the BPO(Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization). Mr. Ohki was one of the councilors of EIRIN since May 1, 2005. |
