ADMINISTRATION COMMISSION OF MOTION PICTURE CODE OF ETHICS

EIRIN COMMISSION OF COUNCILOR

The commission is composed of 1 president, 1 vice president and 3 councilors, and holds its regular meetings monthly. The president of EIRIN is designated with full responsibilities including execution of its policy, category decisions and appointment of the examiners. The Advisory Panel on Children’s Film Viewing falls under the purview of the president. The commission makes executive decisions regarding film classification issues. Currently the councilors are as follows:

President (1)
	Mr. Keinosuke Ohki:	Appointed by Eirin-Sustaining Committee as the fifth president of EIRIN(Film Classification and Rating Committee), he will take up his post in July 2009 when Mr. Magoroku Ide steps down after four years as the Committee’s president. Being a former managing chief editor of the NHK programming department and a former managing director of the BPO(Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization), now he is a professor of Cultural Information at Sugiyama Jogakuen University. Mr. Ohki was one of the councilors of EIRIN since May 1, 2005.
Vice President (1)
	Ms. Miiko Kodama:	Professor of Socio-Media Studies at Musashi University, a member of the BS-Fuji　Broadcast Council, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Japan Society for Studies in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Councilors (3)
	Mr. Osamu Sakurai:	Councilor of Sumitomo Trust Bank, a councilor of Asahi Beer Art and Culture Foundation and an advisor to the Japanese Committee for Economic Development.
	Mr. Yoichi Higuchi：	Professor emeritus of Tokyo University and Tohoku University, a member of the Japan Academy(scholar of the Constitution ) and a correspondent of Institut de France.
	Mr. Kunitoshi Oka：	Lawyer
Honorary Advisor (1)
	Mr. Hideo Shimizu:	Former president of EIRIN. Professor emeritus of Aoyama Gakuin University, an attorney at law, chairperson of the Broadcasting Ethics and Program Improvement Organization. Joined EIRIN on November 11, 1980 as a councilor.
